Sherry started a week full of good-byes by saying good-bye
to her son Chris, Larissa and her granddaughter Kylee

and then it was time for another Pizza Slut meeting/dinner
and since Marilyn was out of town Sherry got her on
the phone and had the whole gang send her a big Sherry Wave©

Sherry was surprised to see Paola down on Frenchman Street too

when Sherry got back to her seat she got an even bigger
surprise
as dinner was over and it was time to settle up on the check

conversation but he finds shiny objects very intriguing

Steve tried to cover his portion of the check
with a joke but Sherry wasn't falling for it

Sherry then hopped a ride into the night on the Bingo Express

pay a visit to the Balcony Bar on Magazine

and Sherry found Larissa, Queen Inertia, Lou
and Mike Williamson enjoying the beginning
of another big weekend in New Orleans

Sherry was at the Hard Rock Cafe
to say another good-bye...this time
for some good friends moving away

in week #47a while dining at Cafe Giovanni, sheepishly
waves after being caught eating at the Hard Rock

Toulouse in
the French Quarter. The Shim Sham is closing and this was the final

at their table by the always saxy Eric Traub

proving the old saying "birds of a feather flock together"
Sherry
visits with 3 of the most famous strippers in French Quarter history

even though she avoids all photos with Jazz Fest producer
Quint Davis, Sherry was happy to get her picture with
Nancy Oschenslager the Associate Producer of Jazz Fest

also at the Shim Sham Club for the final night was
Sherry's neighbor Old School Bob and his wife

the Shim Sham Revue kicked off with your M.C. Danny Martini

then the lovely Southern Jeze-Belles took the stage
with a group number before their
individual performances

Lina Chaste "Jewel of the Quarter"
begins her routine naked.....

and finishes up dressed as a Nun

Sherry was then treated to a song by
sultry songstress Marcy Hesseling

next came Nina "Boom-Boom" Boomavitch
The Caribbean Queen

followed by Kitten LaRue
"The Purr-fect Pet"

it's then skit time with Danny Martini and DD Delite

some more jokes from Danny Martini

followed by an exciting Cancan by the Southern Jeze-Belles

then it was magic time with long time
veteran magician Chet Lowe

but all too soon it was finale time

and as the curtain came down it
was time to say "good-bye" to
The Shim Sham Revue

since it was their last show sultry
songstress Marcy Hesseling grabbed
a picture with Sherry

Chet Lowe magically appeared for a photo

Allison and Mark Morice joined Sherry
in telling the Shim Sham Revue "good-bye"

and then Sherry, Michelle, Mark, Mikey B & Allison
got together with the Southern Jeze-Belles
for a picture to commemorate the final curtain

And now it's time to say "good-bye"
& bring down another curtain as
this completes a year of the Adventures.
When we started the Adventures of Sherry
it was to show our friends who don't live here
the great spirit of the people we know and the
incredible city we live in. What we have learned over
the past year is that you are more spiritually beautiful
and this city more magical than we even realized.
Thank you for opening your hearts and lives to us.
Now it's your turn to share your Adventures with your friends.
See ya soon
