Sherry had a feeling it would be a fun packed
week
when she heard those two magic words "Bingo Tonight"
Sherry leads the Pizza Sluts in a rousing
Sherry Wave©,
but nobody told her it was "Funny Hair Night"
with that Sherry hopped the Bingo Express
and headed into the weekend
Friday night Sherry was at the Riverview Room
of
Jax Brewery for the Times Picayune Christmas Party
Sherry joined the festivities with one of
her favorite people Randy Trahan
Randy is also Sherry's boss and a regular subscriber to
The Adventures so you know he is a cool guy
here Sherry meets up with Chip the Cherry
Man.....
Chip infuses cherries with some kind of unidentified alcohol and
now he has branched out to include pineapples and Mandarin oranges
Sherry was thrilled when she ran into "The
Life of Riley's"
Otto Schmidlap and his lovely date
Sherry enjoyed a visit with her good friend
Miss Verna.
Miss Verna is the only true niece of New Orleans
legendary musician "Uncle" Lionel Batiste
when a line dance broke out, Sherry
wasn't sure how long she could hang around
when it turned into audience participation
Y.M.C.A.
Sherry was outta there
and off to Mark (The Gov) Morice's annual
"make a
Christmas decoration and hang it on my tree party"
here we see Sherry taking the craft makers
pledge
("I solemnly swear to only use my craft making
for the purpose of good and never evil")
Sherry then amazed Matt with her addition
to his ornament
(if ya know what I mean)
and together they proudly displayed their work
the joint was jumpin and chairs were scarce
so Sherry & Walker boogied in the doorway
continuing to feel the seating shortage, Hunter
jumped into
Tim Foley's lap for a chance at another
photo op with Sherry and the Doc
Saturday night Sherry was at John & Larissa's
for some pre-bonfire
food and festivities....here they are joined by Missy with a
sneaky Bill Boelens sipping Gumbo in the back
spying that Gumbo, Sherry said "now that's what I'm talkin' bout"
here Sherry wishes Christmas cheer to her
new friend Victoria Romano
then it was off to the bonfire where Jay Mazza
led Sherry, Hans & Ann
in a rousing "We Three Kings" (the long version)

Santa Claus greeted Sherry when she arrived
and together
they got in a good Holiday Sherry Wave©
Sherry was truly in the Holiday spirit when
she
spotted the choir assembled to salute The Adventures
here Sherry greets Councilwoman Jackie Clarkson
with the single finger salute,
if you would like the soul sucked out of your neighborhood,
Jackie Clarkson is the woman for the job
then Sherry annouced "let the fun begin" and the bonfires were lit
it seemed like a good idea at the time. but spectators soon scurried for cover
just then Sherry stepped in to join the N.O.F.D.
to assure that all was under control
later that night Sherry hit the Maple Leaf
for
the debut of The Blue Brass Project
(which you'll here more about in upcoming Adventures)
joining Sherry to check out The Blue Brass
Project was
record producer extrordinaire Scott Billington and Barbara Roberds
Bill Taylor saw Sherry and Michelle and
wanted to get a picture prior to severe indulgence
Chris & Ashley (the folks behind The Blue
Brass Project) introduce Sherry to
Chris' dad who prefers to be referred to as "The Dixie Chicken"
here we see Bill Taylor again, as he seems
to have established
contact with his favorite bartender
hanging from the rafters of the Maple Leaf
we find Sherry
joined by Joe, road manager for Walter "Wolfman" Washington, and
Woody Wood who was in town to participate in The Blue Brass Project
Sherry, Bill , Matt & Michelle met at
the bar for a pic,
with BT starting to go into full groove mode
after The Blue Brass Project,
Walter "Wolfman" Washington delivered a blistering set
but when he spotted his girl Sherry and Chris
Jones
he was off the band stand and smiling for the birdie
with Bill Taylor attaining warp speed, he
along with Woody
and Sherry answer 3 of lifes most probing questions...
what's it all about?...how big is it?...where does it go?
while everybody else licked their wounds on
Sunday
Sherry was off to the Northshore and
a Christmas party at Randy Trahan's
Randy's dog Bailey is quite a fan of Sherry's
dog Howie,
he nearly peed on the carpet when he saw his chance to make the Adventures
Holidays have been quite sad for Madam ever
since she and
Weyland went their seperate ways...with that Sherry called it a weekend
