hadn't been on the Adventures for months
also playing that night was one
of the great drummers and Sherry's
old friend "Mean" Willie Green

a chance for Kevin to sneak in one more picture

the incomparable Herman Leonard was
photographing this great evening of music
and having that great eye, he spotted Sherry
and Libra and made his Adventures debut
Sherry made quite a few new friends this evening,
including Carl, who enjoys his time in New Orleans
when not doing audio/video for WWF
Sherry applauded wildly as Clyde Kerr Jr began
his famous "pull my finger" routine

Sherry and the gang took to the streets
because even after Mardi Gras, they just
hadn't had their fill of parades yet
and everybody screamed when Mark Morice strolled by
Mark Morice and Tim Foley then grabbed this
opportunity for their picture with Sherry....
and then
Mark turned Tim Foley into a tank top
and presented it to Sherry

of Irish beer she received from a passing float
next on the parade route was the "mean
Queen of clean"
Jackie Clarkson (she's the one responsible for removing
the benches in Jackson Square and the arrest of the homeless),
with Sherry acknowledging her with the proper Jackie Clarkson Salute

in the parade with onlookers also administering
the proper Jackie Clarkson Salute
(thanks to Sherry's old friend Chris Ryan)

to his
shirt he is in strong support of "WAK UF"...Sherry doesn't
know what that means but wishes him well
here we see Sherry with her new friend Sal....
Sal is not just a fashion statement....
he has a message
and the next thing Sherry knew
there was Sal on stage for the big finale

Author"
well she got not only the author David Kunian but
also the very psychedelic host for the evening Norman Robinson
Sherry ran into Pizza Slut Mary Pat
while waiting for the Uptown Mardi Gras
Indians Super Sunday at Shakespeare Park
with a drizzle delaying the start of the action
Sherry decided to try her hand at darts
and won herself this lovely prize
(the doll not the Carny)
but soon there was trouble in the air as Quint Davis
was spotted offering parade officials a ride in his

Charlie and Donna from Donna's Bar on Rampart
figuring Sherry would be caught up in the excitement
Quint Davis, desperate now for a picture with Sherry,
pretended to be enjoying some food so he could sneak up
on her, but Sherry was wise to his tricks and said,
"until you book Neil Young at Jazz Fest, no picture for you"
Sherry and Larissa admiring Sherry's neighbor
Big Chief Peppy as he begins to parade
Tunji then introduced Sherry to his cousin Officer Reginald
Sherry loves to run into Sean...he's not only
a cool guy but his neck tickles her nose

played that big bass drum for the Wild Magnolias

just another Quint Davis encounter of a close kind
New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin then rushed over to let
Sherry know that his men had spotted Quint looking for her.
Sherry told hissoner, "thanks Mr. Mayor, but I got it covered,
you just keep up the good work on filling up dem potholes"
and then the party was on and went well into the night
and there is only one way to top a week like that off....
