Sherry was happy to see that Katie of Tipitina's,
Darcy Malone & Julie were also strictly observing Lent
Blair Gimma may be new on the scene
but quick to make her debut in the Adventures
headlining at Tipitina's was Mahayla

here we see Duke of Tip's explaining to Sherry his
concept of changing the name from "Doo Rag"
to the "Duke Rag"
Sherry then ran into her old friend Mr J Pat Thompson
along with some of the members of his group The Jones'
also playing with Mahayla was Harry Hardin of Johnny Sketch,
shown here with his brand new Zeta violin that made it's
stage debut this night....you can also see Harry and his new violin
at Tipitina's on Saturday March 22 when Johnny Sketch hosts
their CD release party
Jo Cool then asked Sherry to please go home
and get some rest
Sherry's observance of Lent continued on Saturday
with a birthday party at Elizabeth's for her good friend
Mark (The Gov) Morice
here Mark amazed Sherry by magically
making party favors appear on the table
Sherry was very glad to see Eddie and Sherry's
favorite Turlette, Christine had recovered from
Mardi Gras and were ready to celebrate with the Gov
Sherry was excited to meet Mark's father Natchez Morice
and Mark's stepmom Bonnie
Sherry was quite impressed with Elizabeth's co-owner Heidi
and the great food they provided for the party
the birthday boy proposes a toast
and then blows out the candles on his cake
then came the main course of Surf n Turf
Elizabeth's co-owners Heidi & Joe smile as they
watch Jenz, Tammy and all the rest of the
guests enjoy this birthday bash and feast
but as usual nobody had more fun that Sherry & Laurie
here Sherry gets a warm greeting from Judge Derbigny
as Jason (Monica Lewinsky in last weeks Adventures) looks on
Sherry was happy to see Big Chief Billy
of the Wild Pop-A-Lockians as he rescued
her keys that whats-his-name had locked in the car
then it was back to Tipitina's for the Blues & R'n

to meet the leprechaun from Lucky Charms
Pat, Sherry and Cindy continue the Lent observance
(4 birthday parties, 3 dinners, 2 concerts and a practice parade)
with a birthday party for Pat's granddaughter Ellen
here we see the the birthday girl with Nana Pat,
Mary Pat, Sherry & Cindy
and of course some great gumbo
Sherry and Pat then explained to Ellen
the divine secrets of the Pizza Slut sisterhood
and Sherry concluded the week with a song just for Ellen
