Welcome to this weeks edition of

the week started innocently enough with dinner
at Kim Son where Sherry was happy to see Camile & Missy
out for a night of food and frivolity with the Pizza Sluts

after dinner Sherry was off for the Circle Bar

inside she ran into Dr Ike

and his lovely wife Pork Chop (actually her name is Schmuella
but Paul Burlison named her that because she wouldn't eat any bacon
and besides Pork Chop is much easier to say than Schmuella)

here Dr Ike tries to pop Pork Chops head and just misses by an inch or two

playing that night at the Circle Bar is Gulf Coast guitar legend
Classie Ballou & His Family Band

and when Classie spotted Sherry he hopped off his stool
and took advantage of his opportunity to appear in the Adventures

then Mike Otte showed up...kissed Helen and then popped her on the forehead
(you can already see the bruise)

that night Sherry was off for the Mother-In-Law Lounge
sporting her Thibodaux Jones Creole Kitchen T-Shirt
(available while supplies last....to order yours click here)

then Mike & Sherry headed inside for K-Doe's daughters birthday

K-Doe's daughter Rudan was very happy to see Sherry at her party
but the girl on the TV seems quite shocked by the whole thing

Sherry positioned herself at her usual spot at the bar

and then to everyone's delight in walked Ernie(?)

Antoinette was thrilled to see Ernie(?) and rarely left his side

this is K-Doe's best friend Howard and he was a little dazed
at seeing Ernie(?) again in the flesh

Ernie(?) and Rudan got their groove on

and Sherry pinned a $20 on the birthday girl

Sherry was very surprised to run into her old buddy
Al "Carnival Time" Johnson

Ernie(?) then grabbed the microphone that K-Doe always used
to entertain at the Mother-In-Law Lounge

Ernie(?) stopped by the K-Doe statue to pay his respects
and perhaps pick up a few fashion tips

the next night Sherry was at the Rock-N-Bowl© to see Classie Ballou's son
Cedryl with his Zydeco band The Trendsetters

where Sherry ran into Dr. Hip-Hop
(actually Dr Stuart Haas who has just begun Hip Hop dance classes...

Sherry is offering 25 bonus points if you can explain Hip Hop dance classes)

Dr Hip Hop show Sherry some of his new moves

Cedryl Ballou spotted Sherry dancing with Dr Hip Hop and
quickly jumped from the stage and took advantage of his photo op

Sherry with Joe the Wildman dancer and an unidentified friend who
is looking good in his blue velvet suit

whenever at the Rock N Bowl© Sherry's dance card
is rapidly filled

Sherry was trying to dance but Mike would have non of it
(ya know how them Texans can be)

on the way out Sherry was glad to see Murphy
(or is it John Boutte?)

Sherry then went to a new place the Delta Blues Grill
where her old friend Walter "Wolfman" Washington was playing

no sooner had we arrived when Antoinette K-Doe came in
and immediately sat down for some quality Sherry time

Sherry and her newest buddy RR Bill...all RR Bill ever said was
"It ain't whatcha got, it's how ya use it" and then he'd yell "HEY"
Sherry forgot to get his email address...if you have it please forward

and of course when Walter saw Sherry he checked his
calender and sure enough it had been more than 30 days

after some moving and grooving Sherry decided we needed
groceries for Sunday morning breakfast

only to find out Albertsons had closed 5 minutes early
not to be denied Sherry called her old friend Joey the manager
who had security open up for Sherry

and it all ended happily
(except for the security guard at Albertson's
who was really pissed that we went around her,
but when you're with Sherry you get that extra special treatment)

that's all for this week

but stay tuned....because there are always more
