Welcome to this weeks edition of

Sherry and Marilyn were eager to celebrate
Steve's birthday at Elizabeth's Restaurant
and Steve seems happy just to wear that
big Elizabeth's birthday hat for awhile

The Gov, Tim Foley & Michelle were also dining at Elizabeth's
that night and sent Steve their birthday wishes

Tim & Tammy Foley were celebrating their
friend Michelle's birthday...the big hat was available
for Steve to wear because Michelle had the good
sense to say "No" when asked if she wanted to wear it

hoping to get on the good side of Chef Heidi, Sherry paid a visit
to the kitchen and brought Heidi an "Adventures" button

and it obviously worked

when the Gov celebrated his birthday at Elizabeth's he did
magic tricks for Sherry....this time he just put a couple of
wine glasses on the window sill, grins at them and whistles through
his teeth, knowing full well that Sherry is a sucker for that kinda stuff

Sherry and our waiter Gregg prepare to serve up
a little of that delicious Elizabeth's dessert

only good fortune and a cluttered table are able to
spare us from seeing what is actually happening here

that Saturday morning Sherry is off to see her good friend Sean
to pick up the crawfish for the 1st Annual Adventures
of Sherry Crawfish Boil she is throwing for all the folks
who have been nice enough to be in the Adventures
and make them so much fun

slices up some Andouille Sausage

rounds up any crawfish attempting to escape

then it's time to greet all the Adventurers

Ronald and Sherry dumped out the first batch and it was on

folks start to dig in as Lisa arrives and greets Sherry
with one of her now familiar poses

Victoria brought Sherry some beautiful roses and then
was impressed when she saw the American Legion Award
that Sherry received in elementary school
that hangs proudly in the bathroom

Larissa claims her share of the roses as she announces
that she also was a recipient of the American Legion Award

so our American Legion girls pose for a picture
while Carl salutes them by chugging an Abita

sister Darcy would be singing with Theresa Andersson
the next night at Carrollton Station

at the party had never met before this and had
only seen each other in the Adventures

bartender at Jacques-Imo's and Sherry's unidentified new friend
