Sherry took her brother John and his wife
Laurie
for a delicious dinner at Peristyle

and it wasn't long before Chef/Proprietor
Anne Kearney heard that
Sherry was in the restaurant and jumped at her chance to make the Adventures
(as you can see from Sherry's sweater she thoroughly enjoyed her meal)

the birthday surprises continued as
Pat and Flip arrived from Gainesville

and quickly headed
for Franky & Johnny's where
they were thrilled to see that da crawfish is in

the gang was joined by Mike, Donna and Lynn
where Laurie substituted for Sherry
with the Sherry Wave© as Sherry
took the picture

it wouldn't be Franky & Johnny's without
Sherry's favorite
waitress Terry and her daughter Michelle

here we have a very rare picture of Sherry
with Lynn at Harrahs...
this is a rare picture because when it was taken Lynnie was winning...
of course Lynn went back later and....

the gang enjoyed dinner at the Red Fish Grill....
most of them did a fine job on the wave©
except for
Mike (the family's Pulitzer Prize nominee) who reverted
to his Nixon impersonation from the 1970's

just when John thought the surprises had ended...
John had this picture taken by his brother Sam,
waiting in the trunk, when John popped it open

not pleased with how the girls were performing
the Sherry Wave©,
Sherry held an impromptu class before going to the French Quarter

scooping up her prize students, Sherry lead
them
on a tour of her favorite Quarter stops

while passing thru the French Market, Sherry
was spotted by Oscar
of Jewelry by Oscar, and he was quite anxious to make his debut

this made Sherry crave some true
Glamour Trash Jewelry from her friend James

Sherry then made a stop at Frenchy Galleries
on Royal St.
where she saw gallery director Erin and Christian from New Orleans Tonight...
they are long time readers of the Adventures and
were only too happy to jump in for a picture

local makeup artist Angelina spotted Sherry
in Frenchy's and the two stopped for a pic while
admiring all of Frenchy's great paintings

Sherry is well aware of the fine service the
NOPD provides our city
and stopped by the 8th district police station to spread some holiday cheer

Sherry then saw Uncle Jack...he hangs out
every day at the entrance
to the French Market....a lot of people say he's crazy but Sherry
doesn't think we are the right people to be judging someones sanity

Sherry and her sister Pat then ran into Jim
& Diane the Vinyl People,
the Vinyl People looked bootiful in their
...you guessed it, vinyl costumes...they wanted Sherry to remind you
of their motto, which is....you guessed it again
" ya gotta love vinyl"

Sherry's brothers Sam & Mike get ready
for a grueling game of Wist
Mike (the family's Pulitzer Prize nominee) is in the hat

here Sam & MIke (the family's Pulitzer
Prize nominee) engage
in some sort of activity which we don't think is legal in most states

Sherry knows that the only way to top off
this type of weekend
is with dinner at Jacques-Imo's....here Sherry gives a big wave©
as she visits with the folks that keep Jacques-Imos running
Jamie, Jim, Kat and Angel

Sherry proposes a toast and the feast is on

Jacques-Imos owner Jack then joined us for
a round of table side Christmas Carols

while brother Moo (week # 16)
proves
he can and will sleep just about anywhere

Jack then arm wrestled Sherry's brother John
for the check...
Jack won

Jack then sent John some birthday cake and
John made 2 wishes...
(1) world peace and (2) to see more of his family in funny hats

at least one of his wishes came true

Pat didn't believe Sherry really knew the
"Sleeper" hold,
but Sherry grabbed her and in no time it was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

and we close this week with Moo revealing
his secret for
being able to fall asleep anywhere....
counting "Sherrys On A Stick"
