Welcome to this weeks edition of
Sherry started the week quietly enough
as she joined the Pizza Sluts for Dinner
nobody could figure out what Sherry meant when she
promised to "send the Sluts love to the King"
Sherry spotted her favorite dentist, Laurie,
and her friends also dining at Wasabi
Marilyn asked Sherry if she wanted to go to the John
where the girls modeled the English as well as Western style
Sherry heard that the Hummingbird Hotel and Grill would be
closing soon,
so she felt a need to visit her old place of business
next Sherry paid a visit to Graceland Too in Holly Springs,
MS
Sherry swore she could hear Cuckoo clocks while chatting
with Graceland Too's proprietor Paul McLeod
Graceland Too is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days
a year
Elvis and Sherry scared each other when he appeared at the
alter
Sven from the Netherlands with that
"what the hell is this guy talkin about" look
that all visitors to Graceland Too get at one point of their visit
Paul McLeod than favored us with his Mr Microphone (I swear)
version of "I Got Stung" which had everybody looking for the exits
our host, Paul McLeod and his wife from the earlier days,
why she left him we were unable to figure out
the only way to follow that was to jump on over to
Othar Turner's Annual Labor Day Weekend
Goat Bar-B-Q and Blues Party
Sherry with one of her many dance partners for the evening
18 year old Slick lives with Othar Turner
and played some great blues for the party
upon learning Sherry was at the party
Slick jumped off the back porch stage
and immediately took advantage of his good fortune
another of Sherry's dance partners shows her
the North Mississippi Peek-A-Bo dance
but nothing makes Sherry's heart flutter like
hugging it up with Luther Dickinson
Nancy (The Goo), R.L. Boyd, Sherry and a very dapper gentlemen
enjoy the sights and sounds of Othar's party
Paul Johnston is one of the great young blues
musicians coming out of North Mississippi
and that was good enough to be included in this weeks Adventure
Sherry with a friend from last years party,

John makes incredible slide guitars out of cigar boxes
Othar Turner, Luther Dickinson & Calvin Jackson
as soon as Othar spotted Sherry he asked for a picture
then Othar and Sherry capped off a great evening with
some North Mississippi get down dancing
bright and early Sunday morning
Sherry welcomes us to the real Graceland
but the Goo decided she would rather break in
so Sherry gives her a boost
Sherry then took a moment to
fulfill her prophecy to the Pizza Sluts
to "send the Sluts love to the King"
such a beautiful Sunday morning meant a visit to the Rev. Al
Green's
Full Gospel Tabernacle Church just down the road from Graceland
still feeling the spirit Sherry then made a stop by Sun Records
Studio
later Sherry ran into Beavis in jail
for impersonating a drunk Mexican
out on the streets Sherry ran into John Kilzer
one of her favorite Memphis musicians
stopping by the Southern Folklore Center is
always on Sherry's list while in Memphis
John Sinclair was performing at the Southern Folklore Festival
and used this opportunity to get his picture with Sherry
did Sherry mention she got to hug her boy Luther
later that night Sherry jammed to the North Mississippi All-Stars
at Wallenberg Band Shell, Overton Park in Memphis
leaving the park Sherry found out her car had been
broken into and thoroughly burglarized
Officer Linville would take the report only after
being promised he could be in this weeks Adventures
all that was left was for
Sherry Jo McAllister to
jump off the Tallahatchie Bridge
