Welcome to this weeks edition of
after a hard week of work Sherry likes to jump on
the ol' bike and head out for dinner
Sherry decides to drink her Martini without lifting the glasss
as her way of celebrating the replacement purse for her
favorite Jazz Fest purse that was stolen
two Adventures ago by those rat bastards in Memphis
Tipitinas was Sherrys next stop for the Soul Jam featuring
an All-Star Jam band made up of Ivan Neville,
Stanton Moore &Theryl "Houseman" deClouet of Galactic,
Cornell Williams from John Cleary's Absolute Monster Gentlemen,
Michael Ray, Sista Teedy, &Tim Green
Cornell Williams of the SoulJam grabbed Sherry
for a picture and was joined by the one and only
"Mean" Willie Green from the Neville Brothers
Sherry hadn't seen her old friend Katy in months
and it seems to be making her sleepy
Baba Tunji put her on the brink of a coma
Sherry's newest friend Marcy had Tony show her
how ya pose for the Adventures
Marcy told Sherry that she had it down, and then,
David Kunian showed up for tonsil check
Ivan Neville claimed that he was already beyond the
"celebrity 30 day no repeat policy" limit. We checked
our records and he was correct and Ivan became our
most photographed celebrity with his 3rd appearance
Sista Teedy lit it up on stage but saved a
little magic for her picture with Sherry
then it was time for the much anticipated
Lisa's 1st Annual 39th Birthday Party
there was quite a gang assembled to
celebrate Lisa's birthday
but none that could out shine
the birthday girl
the whole party later made it's way
to Tipitanas for the Rebirth Brass Band
Sherry was happy to see her old friend Brett
who was in charge of the sound that night
& he asked Sherry if she might.....
give the sound system a final tweek
and Sherry was happy to help out
MoFro then took the stage but J.J.
held a chair open for Sherry to join in
and they were happy to see each other back stage
Lisa & Steve say goddbye to Sherry as she
gets ready to make her way from Tipitinas
as it's back on the bike and off for home because.....
early Sunday morning Sherry joined Brooks and Diana
at Audubon Park for the No-Aids Walk
Sherry has never really enjoyed the stretching part
Diana and Sherry are all smiles after Sherry
kneed the guy behind them and made off
with all his flowers
after the walk Sherry enjoyed the park with Brooks, Diana and
friends,
but after a weekend of celebrating birthdays, dancing the night away and
trying to find a cure for Aids there was only one thing left to do.....
