Welcome to this weeks edition of
Sherry had not seen her friend Larry Reisman in almost 20 years,
what's even more remarkable is that Sherry
does not have a drink in her hand
the arrival of Zachary Dupre
and Sherry couldn't have been happier
Sherry immediately took Zach to
his favorite restaurant Franky & Johnny's
where Sherry and Zach saw their favorite waitress-Terry
soon Steve & Marilyn arrived with a copy of that days newspaper
that featured them in their beautiful new home
(but does this move them from the friend
to the celebrity category for future Adventures???)
while everybody was smiling for the camera
Zach took the opportunity to steal some of Sherry's food
the Mayor of Arabella (see week #16) was thrilled
to see Zach at the bar
Officer McEnfel was anxious for another picture with Sherry
while Steve gave him the Pizza Slut salute
next it was time for a friendly game of cards
Zach visited his buddies at the local convenience store
and they gave Zach a little present to celebrate
Sherry and Zach are very excited to get tickets for The Dudes
(formerly the Subdudes but their old bass player is being a jerk
and won't let them use the name....he wasn't that great anyway)
but current bass player Tim Cook had spotted them
and before you knew it Tim & Steve Amadee of The Dudes
were taking advantage of this chance meeting
Jeff Gonzer (or an incredible look-alike) opened the show
Washboard Chaz (from Adventure #18) spotted Sherry
and was very happy to make his first off-stage appearance
soon it was time for the Dudes and they sounded great
possibly the biggest surprise of the evening
was running into Rick Nick
Steban (proud owner of Team Gypsy) was another surprise in the crowd
Sherry also ran into her old friends Pam & Richard
(Richard is the Dudes webmaster)

this has nothing to do with Sherry
but how often do you see a Gabe Kaplan doll???
Sherry's dog Howie (appearing by request) prepares to
perform his only trick.....eating
Sherry, Jr, Sherry's mom Helen & Zach
get together to celebrate the joy of Pop Rouge
next Zach, Helen & Sherry were off for dinner at Jacques-Imo's
and owner Jack Leonardi sprang
into action when he saw Sherry arrive

Sherry and her mom Helen raise a glass
in answer to those who have asked "where does Sherry get it from?"
Jacques-Imo's laid out their usual feast
Sherry doesn't usually allow celebrities to interrupt her meal,
but made an exception for an eager Ani DiFranco
Jack checking back to make sure everything was up
to Sherry's fine dining standards....and indeed they were
in a meeting reminiscent of such greats as Ali/Frazier
Helen and Chef Austin Leslie share a kitchen moment
time for another friendly game of cards
Sherry then celebrated with a
victory drink at the Columns Hotel bar
only to return home and curl up with a bottle of JD
sadly Sherry had to bid everyone goodbye
and she's off for Adventures in places unknown
