Welcome to this weeks edition of
Sherry warmed up for the weekend with her mom
Helen and the lightning round of Wheel of Fortune
then it was a Pizza Slut planing meeting/dinner
for Krewe du Vieux this coming Saturday (2/15)
7pm in the French Quarter....
come on out and party with Sherry & the Pizza Sluts
Sherry then thought she would pay her
respects to King (RB) Quasimodo
and the King welcomed her with open arms
(RB welcomes most girls with open arms, but ...)
being King takes a lot of planning so RB
was working the phone lines as
Hans & Sherry offered their assistance
then Sherry was off to Tipitina's
(or Tipilini's as her mom calls it)
opening the show was Sherry's friend Theresa Anderssen
along with Marc Paradis from Johnny Sketch. Darcey Malone
also sang but what-his-name blew it on that picture
joining Sherry up front for Theresa Anderssen's
set were fellow Pizza Sluts Steve & Marilyn

here we see Sherry along with Steve, Marilyn, Laurie
and Sherry's new friend Jeff. Jeff is a chiropractor from
St. Louis who is thinking about moving to New Orleans
Jeff then had Sherry sign his belly...
Sherry thinks Jim has out grown St. Louis
and needs to relocate to New Orleans immediately
next up at Tip's was the Pan Fried Cracker Music of Mofro,
led by Sherry's old friend J.J. (week #15)
Sherry and Marilyn jammed up front with the King
Sherry appreciated J.J. posing from the stage for

just one of the reasons it's good to be King
Sherry and Queen (Katherine) Inertia enjoyed
Mark Mullins sitting in with Mofro
Sherry knew Walker was her kinda man
when she spotted his Pooka Shell necklace
Sherry enjoys a royal moment with the King and Queen
Darryl, lead guitarist of Mofro, sits mostly
expressionless most of the show....this picture
was taken as he was being introduced and
the crowd was going wild.....
Sherry knew she would run into Sean and was very
happy when she did....RB continues enjoying being King
in her spare time Sherry likes to help out
by giving directions to the Cajun Market
Sherry then went to Mulate's to enjoy
the Cajun music of the Lucky Playboys
the Lucky Playboys were then joined by
the always entertaining New Orleans Rubbroads
and when the New Orleans Rubbroads spotted Sherry
in the crowd they invited her to jam with them....
of course the New Orleans Rubbroads
are also in the Pizza Sluts

Sherry then met Sally, who keeps an owl in a bag
and takes it with her everywhere....and of course the
owls name is "Jesus, the Gospel Spreading Owl"
(this was pretty wacky even for New Orleans)
after the set Sherry met her new
friend Ward of the Lucky Playboys
after Mulate's it was over to Donna's
for the Treme Brass Band
on bass drum and Kazoo is Uncle Lionel,
the King of this year's Krewe du Vieux parade

Uncle Lionel spotted Sherry in the crowd and it was on
Sherry with Benny Jones, the leader of the Treme Brass
Band
Benny's wife Verna is Uncle Lionel's niece and works with Sherry
here is an amazing lineup of talent
musical greats Benny Jones, Uncle Lionel & Troy Andrews
plus Sherry & Troy's friend Shalanda,
two of the hottest dancers around
then it was time to say goodnight....
but we'll be seeing more of Uncle Lionel next week
as he celebrates his birthday and reigns over Krewe du Vieux

the next morning it was once again time to shop
for costume items for Mardi Gras...a little gold paint
some high heels
an assortment of rhinestones and sequins
some brightly colored clothes
the all important foot supports for pee-rading
a little glue
and then you sew, sew, sew
after all that it's time for some hot crawfish and turkey necks
Sherry meets fans in the oddest places
then on Sunday it was float building time
with the Pizza Sluts...
which always means plenty of good food

Steve, Sherry & Cindy put in their two cents
Sherry salutes the maiden voyage of the Crime Scene...
it was the only thing close to maiden at this get together
then Captain Arthur took Sherry for a cruise...

for the Golden Arrows Mardi Gras Indian practice....

Sherry was happy to see Michelle back in the Adventures
after a weeks absence (Sherry had email asking where Michelle was)
while Bill Bender (week #31) spots Jon Cleary apparently

Sherry's whereabouts for Quint Davis
Jon Cleary approached Sherry but she was all
smiles as she slid off into the crowd
it was then time for the Indian prayer and the singing
of
Indian Red to conclude another Adventurous week
