
Thursday marked the opening of week #2 of Jazz Fest

one of the first people Sherry saw was Robin Shollmeir
who
moved to Arkansas back in week # 3

and soon the girls were off for Fest activities unknown

The Benjy Davis Project appeared in week #43
of the Adventures
and now finds themselves opening up at Jazz Fest

Mike & Kathy Otte help Sherry decide
between all the great choices of music

Jumpin Johnny Sansone had the Blues Tent jumpin

RB loves colorful socks....Sherry loves colorful shoes
but one thing for sure...footwear is never dull at Jazz Fest

next up in the Blues Tent was Sherry's brother Mike's
favorites, Brian Lee & The Blues Power Band

Ashley Thibodaux of Thibodaux Jones Creole Kitchen tells
Sherry how happy she is to be home for Jazz Fest

meanwhile the Basin Bros. were takin
care of business on the Fais Do-Do Stage

Sean's "A man walks into a bar..." routine is
nothing special but his timing is impeccable

Tab Benoit, the pride of Houma, put it on 'em
in the Blues Tent

Sherry and James Fisher show little Jack Fred Fisher the
beauty of
Jazz Fest while his Uncle Chris brings him his first bag of Cracklins

Sonny Landreth was tearing it up on stage as Sherry's
good friend Mark "The Gov" Morice waves from the side of the stage

Sherry then ran into her favorite photographer,
the amazing, Herman Leonard

just in case you weren't getting enough music
this afternoon there are always guys going thru
the crowds with flyers on that evenings club shows

but Sherry knew it was time for a quick nap

but not for long as Renard Poche and his
new band hit the stage at Congo Square

and Sherry and Deb were up and dancin'

Bill Taylor was nowhere to be found so
Chris Jones provided the official call of "Day 5"

the North Mississippi All Stars have become a fixture at Jazz Fest

Sherry was having a great time hanging at the tarp when
her sister Pat warned her that she had that funny feelin'

sure enough, there was Quint checking reports on Sherry's
whereabouts in hope of maybe ending his Adventures drought

but it wasn't to be as Sherry called it a day and waved good-bye
