Welcome to this weeks edition of

Sherry started the week celebrating the birthday
of her good friend Brooks Smith

Sherry was very happy when Steve & Marilyn's daughter C.C.
joined the Pizza Sluts for dinner at Mandinas

Sherry ran into Michael Paz (the voice of Louisiana Jukebox) outside
of Tipitinas for Wilco. Sherry's ticket is the closest you'll come to seeing
the band. They were great but very paranoid about pictures.
Lord knows how much damage could be done to a bands career if
a fan took a picture and it got seen by other people

Sherry found her friend Libra LeGrone chatting with Fess

then Sherry saw her newest friend Michelle, who
we all met in a blurry picture in week #22

if you're at good music, Sherry knows the
chances are you'll run into Todd

Sherry hadn't seen Pete Winkler (from the band Motorway) in quite some time

meanwhile Howie kept a nuclear eye on things
(nuclear is pronounced "new-clear" in case W is receiving this issue)

Sherry then enjoyed the anniversary celebration of Brint & Liz Anderson...
here Liz is slicing some of the incredible brisket
Brint had smoked for the occasion

Sherry's buddy Chris Ryan was their
and she wasted no time jumping in his lap

Sherry & Shar were both happy to see Hank Williams Jr at the party
but they were both surprised how much shorter he is in person

but the joint jumped when Bocephus took the stage

Sherry was really glad to run into her old friends
Camile & Missy

and showed she hadn't lost her touch
when it came time to jam

the Rock N Bowl was the scene of Antoinette K-Doe's
"The Emperor vs. The King" night...we're not
sure what that means but we were there

Sherry was glad to see CC there as well as JJ (week#21) JJ is modeling the new
Thibodaux Jones Creole Kitchen T-Shirt
(available while supplies last)

K-Doe seems to be quite happy to see Sherry as JJ sneaks up from behind
all seemed quite normal until....

a K-Doe impersonator (or is it the Emperor returned?)
was spotted in the crowd

Sherry was thrilled when Antoinette & Ernie? asked
to be included in this week's Adventure

also in the house was the one and only Miss Tee-Eva
owner of Tee-Eva's Sno-Balls & Pie Shop and also
a member of the Paradise Ladies...K-Doe's back up singers

Sherry then demonstrated her overwhelming hypnotic powers
on JJ and the Goo

Sherry saw her good friend Jonathon Edwards ( week #4)
entering the Rock-N-Bowl

and when Jonathon took the stage
Sherry & Ernie? were up front and center

the evenings M.C. then produced a staff with K-Doe's wig
and took to blessing members of the crowd

\

and of course Sherry is always up for
a good blessing with a dead guys wig

it must work...immediately after that
a skeleton appeared and asked her to dance

Sherry then saw Big Chief Alfred Doucette of the Flaming Arrows
she took one look at that jewelry and said

"check out me and the pretty, pretty Big Chief"

it's still true that 2 heads are better than one
Sherry is not so sure that applies to Elvis's

but upon spotting Sherry
Elvis was off the stage and ready for his photo op

then Al "Carnival Time" Johnson took the stage
......betcha can't guess what he sang

but when Al spotted Sherry it was Mardi Gras in November

Sherry then led Oliver "Who Shot The La-La" Morgan
on to the stage....now for 10 bonus points guess what he sang

Jeannie the Shake dancer shared her secret with Sherry
"when ya fine all ya gotta do is wink"

and then it was on

with that Sherry hopped into the Frog Mobile
and headed into the night

that's all for this week

but stay tuned....because there are always more
