
Sunday morning Sherry was back at the
Fairgrounds and ready for Day 4

and the only proper way to open Sunday at Jazz Fest is
in
the Gospel Tent with the Nu Vision Gospel Choir

then Sherry found Bill Taylor and he
confirmed that it really was Day 4

and in the Blues Tent Little Freddie King was shakin em down

next up was Sherry's good friend Spencer Bohren
and he always plays one of the best sets at Jazz Fest

Sherry then went back into the Grandstand
for a quick drum demonstration

then it was back out to the stage for Dr John

Sherry and the gang say that the Dr be rockin'

and Dr John was truly in top form

Sherry then paid a visit to Tracy from Kabuki Hats, where
Sherry
gets all her Mardi Gras hats, and presents Tracy with her
Adventures of Sherry T-Shirt....Bob Jones, Night Stage Manager,
and Mike Gourrier of WWOZ look on in envy

Sherry then ran into her chiropractor Dr Ehrenberg
and his wife Bernadette and their little girl Emily

next Sherry ran into her massage therapist Norman with
his
daughters June & Gabby....Norman is also the bass player in the Revealers

Sherry's good friend Sean Ardoin N Zydekool
were takin care of business at the Fais Do-Do

Sherry and David Lee Simmons of Gambit Weekly
enjoying a quiet moment between the action

but soon it was time for Joe Cocker

Michelle, Mikey B &and Dylan agreed with
Sherry that Joe had never sounded better

but he's starting to resemble Gerry Raley

when Joe sang "Into The Mystic"
it set a great mood in the crowd

RB warned Sherry that Quint had been seen looking for her

sure enough, there he was, and it was time to move on

to Mo's Chalet in Metairie for Sam Butera & The Wildest

as soon as the set was over Sam was thrilled for
another picture with Sherry and his niece Angelina

next was the arrival of Zachary from Cali for Jazz Fest

then Sherry was back out at Tipitina's for the
North Mississippi All Stars with Derek Trucks
sitting in on the first set

Aaron from Detroit and Sherry were having a big time
but Bill Bender seems to be getting more than his share

legendary piano great Johnny Neal sat in too

and soon they were joined by Dicky Betts

a large stack of $50 bills changing hands
and Dicky Betts on stage....
coincidence???...maybe not

Todd and his friends joined Sherry jammin down front

and then out came Quint looking for his girl
and Sherry called it a night and the end
of the first week of Jazz Fest
